Description: Color can range from reddish/orange to a dark violet/brown. Grain is typically straight. Bolivian Rosewood is very durable, though quite susceptible to insect attack. It is not recommended for ground contact. It has fair workability due to blunting the cutting edges of tools. Turns and finishes well, although it can be a challenge to glue.

Common Uses: Musical Instruments, cabinetry, flooring, interior trim, turning, and small objects.
